Tau buku Karl May sbenernya sejak gw SD <80's>, soalnya ortu gw koleksi lengkap serial buku tsb, yang rupanya jg dibaca sama ka2k2 gw secara turunan..hehhe, awalnya sih liat buku itu di rak jg gag pengen baca, abis gag ada gambarnya <maklum msh kecil..>, cm liat2 cover luarnya aja dan judulnya yg seru+aneh bwat gw pd masa itu spt : rahasia bison putih, gunung setan, danau perak dsb.., baru wkt SMP karna rasa penasaran yg menjadi <karna dah keabisan bacaan jg..heheh> mulai baca buku Karl May tsb, tp gag urut dr awal, jd waktu itu berdasarkan judul yg seru aja, soalnya blm tau kalo ternyata itu smua berurutan, seinget gw dulu yg pertama gw baca adalah mustang hitam, berawal dr situlah mulai penasaran dan tertarik sampai beberapa kali baca jg, tp sdh teratur jd mulai Winetou ketua suku Apache sampai winetou gugur <atau wasiat winetou???..> trs nyambung ke kara ben nemsi dst..., yah emang smua itu dah tinggal memori aja setelah ortu beberapa x pindah rmh, akhirnya lenyaplah semua koleksi buku tsb, karna dl jg gag kepikiran kl bk tersebut asyik bwat dibaca, apalagi dulu koleksinya yg masih ejaan lama..
Kesan gw skrg setelah baca buku2 tsb <biar dah lama dan banyak yg dah lupa critanya> , buku tsb sangat menarik dan banyak suri tauladan yg dapat dicerna oleh yg membacanya, walaupun kadang tokoh 'Old Shaterhand atw Kara ben Nemsi' suka 'show off' hehhe, dan juga setelah tau <dah lupa drmn dan kpn dpt infonya> kalo Karl May tdk pernah kebenua amerika dgn kata lain smua crita di buku tsb cm khayalan besar si pengarang tsb, toh kembali lg ke asalnya lah..., namanya jg komik-buku-cerita bwat hiburan dikala senggang.
